Better Built Bullies is located just south of Raleigh, North Carolina. We are honored to have our productions worldwide. We specialize in American Bullies for excellent temperament, health, structure, and well balanced drive. We are focused on the Pocket (13"-17" Tall) & Miniature/Micro (under 13" tall) American Bullies with extreme features, without sacrificing health, structure or mobility.
With extensive knowledge in the American Bully breed and Veterinary medicine, David and Jennifer started Better Built Bullies in 2007. A large focus is put on pedigrees, with a strong understanding of temperament, phenotype, and genotype. Our intent is to better the breed, and continue the work from previous breedings, the American Bullies chosen for the program at Better Built Bullies are carefully picked. This is all to ensure that your family receives the ultimate companion.
Better Built Bullies originated in Michigan where we were the number one American Bully Breeder in the Midwest. In 2013 We relocated to North Carolina where we are focused on improving the American Bully breed through our community and across the world. We have the honor to have our productions around the world with amazing families.
Better Built Bullies strives to breed within the breed standards of the American Bully Kennel Club (ABKC) for the pocket class American Bully, with a focus on extreme features.
Better Built Bullies is also working hard on creating their own line of clean Miniature Bullies which some refer to as Micro Bullies with those same extreme features. The health of our American Bullies is very important to us at Better Built Bullies. Our health testing includes annual heart screenings, full blood work, DNA testing and regular visits to our veterinarian.
The American Bully is a companion breed exhibiting confidence, a zest for life, along with an exuberant willingness to please and bond with their family.
Our dogs have the typical Bully phenotype with large, broad and blocky heads, muscular bodies with heavy bone structure and they exclude great confidence and strength. Despite the American Bully’s fierce and powerful appearance our family companions have a gentle demeanor, and they really just want to be lap dogs, that are extremely loyal and eager to please their owners.

We are committed to producing structurally sound, well mannered, intelligent and healthy Pocket Bully puppies that make amazing companions for your family.
B3 Line Pocket bullies are known for having massive heads, thick bone, broad chests, wide shoulders, blocky muzzles, and being packed with muscle mass on short & compact frames.
We are asked a lot what we feed our dogs to get them so muscular and stocky. The short answer is Genetics not all bullies have it, but we can tell you all of our productions will have that wow factor that will have everyone that sees your future B3 production impressed.
All of our bullies are agile, energetic, physically fit, well mannered and love to play. They are amazing with children and other dogs. We breed for intelligence as well as breed confirmation.
